Free 30 Day Returns & Resizes
Not ecstatic about something! Wrong size? Need a larger diamond? Different color gold? Don’t worry, we offer free returns within 30 days of receipt for most orders over $100.00 and US delivered. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return it within 30 days for an exchange or full refund.* For eligible orders, our return and resize policy timeline begins when your order is delivered. International customers and customers with previous returns/cancellations, please see below.
We try to make this an easy process (described below) and will provide the free FedEx return shipping label via email. To request a return, please email us with your order number at email@example.com
We also offer one complimentary resizing for a standard ring style with free shipping. Please note that eternity rings and some styles cannot be resized due to their design. They would need to be remade and take longer than the average resize procedure to accommodate the new size. Custom, modified, exchanged or sizes greater than 1 whole size (greater or lessor) on rings are subject to resize fees. Please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org to begin the process.

What is eligible for return?
If you ordered it online by adding it to your cart and purchasing it, it's eligible for returning as a stock item. Items being returned for a refund or store credit must be returned in their original tagged, unworn condition and accompanied by all original documentation. Certificates have a $150 replacement fee. A minimum $100 fee will be charged for refurbishing a item returned without a tag, if accepted. The following orders are nonreturnable: items that have been modified, resized or have previously been exchanged or upgraded. Custom designed jewelry may have a restocking fee or be final sale. Customers that have previously returned an order for a refund or canceled during production, your next purchase will qualify for instore credit. When your order is returned, you will be given a gift card with the returned amount loaded on it. Purchases made with instore credits gift cards are considered final sales, non-returnable. Alterations to orders currently in process may void the complimentary resize, return and exchange policies.
How to ship an order back
1. Now that you have received a return shipping label from us please locate the nearest FedEx shipping location that you can bring the item in to be packed and shipped. Some of their locations do not have boxes and the item needs to be packed in a box prior to shipping. Our labels are Express shipping labels and if the location has boxes, they will provide a free shipping box.
2. Packing your order: double check that you include all original packaging and accompanying materials, including the packing slip and all diamond / jewelry certificates (a $150 replacement fee per certificate will be charged otherwise). For resizes, you do not include original certificates.
3. Shipments are fully Insured: Pack your item inside its original jewelry box. Place the jewelry box and certificates inside a shipping box and add either tissue paper or a padded envelope can be used to help it securely fit it in a FedEx Express box. Affix the label to the outside shipping box and take it your nearest FedEx location. The insurance is void and New World Diamonds nor FedEx are not responsible for packages dropped off in FedEx Drop Boxes, Non-FedEx staffed locations, or shipped inside of any type of envelope. FedEx receipts are given when they scan the label for shipment and to confirm that the item has been shipped - this receipt will act as proof of insurance and shipment. Please do not write jewelry, diamonds or anything, anywhere on the package.
4. If you chose to use a different shipping method you can ship it back by any carrier. For your protection, please ship your item fully insured, signature required, and with a tracking number method. New World Diamonds is not responsible for items lost or damaged while shipping.
After we receive the returned order, our return department will inspect and verify the condition of the item. Returns take approximately 1 week to process upon receipt of the item. Refunds will be issued to the method of payment used in the original purchase. International (including bank wire) purchases will be refunded in USD according to the exchange rate at time of refund deducting any wire or bank fees. New World Diamonds is not responsible for differences in foreign currency refund amounts or bank charges due to exchange rate fluctuations between the time of purchase and refund or bank (financial institutions) charge for processing different currency. For all refunds, please allow two weeks to a month for your credit to appear. We notify the banks when we notify you of the refund. However each company is different and transactions take time to be acknowledged and received.
Return shipping authorizations are active for 10 days from the date of issue and packages must be shipped during the active time period of your return shipping authorization. If your return shipping authorization has expired, please contact us at 877-653-2250 or firstname.lastname@example.org to request another return shipping authorization. Any returns showing signs of being worn or those that have been engraved, altered, resized, damaged in any way or worked on by another company / jeweler will not be accepted for return.
Gift cards are non-transferable, cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be returned for a cash refund. Any unused portion of the gift card will remain available for future purchases under the same gift card reference code for 1 full year from the purchase date. New World Diamonds is not responsible for lost or stolen gift cards or their online code numbers. First time customers purchasing a gift card using a credit card may be required to show proof of authorized credit card user for your security and fraud prevention.
